Heatstore is for fires. Supplying them, installing them and servicing them whenever they need it. But it’s also for families. Owned by Jo & Chris Macbeth, family plays a vital role in the very foundations of Heatstore. With their kids all grown up, Chris and Jo wanted something of their own. Drawing on their backgrounds in businesses big and small – from dairy giants to primary school libraries – and inspired by their son Hector’s move to Christchurch, they found Heatstore: a business that did good, that meant something. And the best part – it came with a family all of its own. Its team. People who love what they do – so much so, they’ve been doing it for more than 80 years combined. If that’s not commitment, then we don’t know what is.
